    Professional update

rik spotted that there was something afoot when my signature changed.

Yes, there has been a bit of stable reorganisation for the Pro boys.

I aquired the Red Arrows limited edition a few days ago and have just sold the blue boy as it was surplus to requirement. When I originally got my blue B-1 I did a dial change on the grey UTC that was on the Vulcan in order to give the UTC more wrist time. The Vulcan has therefore been without a buddy for some time. That is untill the other week when I manage to trace a blue UTC and bracelet.

Now here is my dilemma. Given the RAF links to the Vulcan. Do I change the blue dial on the UTC fitted here to the Vulcan, or keep the near RAF blue as shown?

    Just my opinion.
I think the UTC module face should be a match to the host watch dial.
Otherwise it looks thrown together. An original set from Breitling would match.
    BTW- Love the grey face

Hi Gav. I voted to change it to grey.

The grey dial on the B1 may not have the colour connection to the RAF, but the emblem on it certainly does.

Having odd colour dials on watch and UTC doesn't really work for me, besides you also have the blue B1 and UTC to give you the colour connection.

    Good luck with your dilema,
    Nick.

Hi, Gav. I'm with Dave and Nick. Match the beautiful Vulcan grey with a grey UTC, period. When I acquired the UTC for my slate grey EVO, Grenchen only had a black dial available and I considered it because the subdials are black. I kept holding the black UTC from my B-1 up to the slate/black EVO dial and although it looked ok... I was truly glad that Grenchen had a slate dial in their parts holding to redial it for me. IMHO, the UTC dial must match the main watch dial. BTW, I love your Professional collection ALL having UTC's!!! Sahweeeeeeet!!! Below are my three UTC equipped pieces. Now I'm regretting selling the CW this past summer. Not really. It went to a very good home and the gentleman who has it now LOVES blue dial B's.
    Cheers, mate.

Hmm, in the shot you posted the difference between the UTC and the vulc isn't that much but I'm afraid that I've gotta to stick to the idiom - what do UTCs and Lady's underapparel* have in common? They've both got to match to be stylish.

(*On ladies you understand - I'm not admitting anything!!! )

Hi Gav. I think you should sell all those clunkers and get a nice automatic. Seriously, as the others have stated, I'd match the dials. The gray is a looker for sure. Good luck with your decision. Cheers, Bob

    Now worries Lou, it's cool.

I think you'll have more on your plate than me just now. Hope all are well and going to schedule.

The pole shows my own true thoughts guys, but I though a second, third, fourth.....etc poinion would dispel any doubts. Ron as always you are right and have those fantastic pics with which to twist my arm even more.

I'll keep it running till next week but I think I know what's to happen. Vulcan and UTC service with UTC dial change please BUK. Thanks.
