    What Chrono model is this?

    Hello all,

Can anyone help me identify this particular model? It is a manual-wind 35mm with what appears to be brushed stainless-steel.

I know it is out of production, but that's about it. What is the movement, model, year of manufacture and price when bought new?

    Thanks!!

    Hi,
Its a chrono callisto. The movement will be a manual wind Lemania 1873 as illustrated in the article on display back models by Altro. You can view this writeup in the articles section of the forum.

Price when new I can't say just now. Year of production very early 90's.
Hard to tell without the serial numbers and even then its not an exact reference. The watch face indicates that its from the first release of callisto's
as later models had a '12 and battons' not all battons like this one.

SnapIT: Thank you very much for the info. Appreciate it. It's on my 'maybe' list at the moment because I haven't seen any other quite like it here.

If you like a medium sized watch ie under 38mm to +35mm then this is a very nice example.

Being manual wind you will have to pay daily attention to it to keep it going.

If it is NOS then you will also have to pay attention to the service history of the watch. If its just been taken from the safe after 15+ years of storage then a service is needed to renew the lubrication of the movement. Take that into account when considering your 'bids'. $300+ USD is a cost you should factor in for the service if required. I have one of these in G&SS on a two tone pilots bracelet. A very nice watch in the hand and on the wrist.
