    Re: Adorable Blue !

That's a fantastic watch..!! Impressive engineering, and dare I say 'subtle' but very appropriate design choices. I'm still not completely sold on the '12' marker being the only arabic numeral, while 3, 6, and 9 are tick marks (classic Professionale designs have these in arabic numerals, which imho, gives the watch more 'balance' compared to its imposing stature).

The CNS logo blends perfectly well against the blue dial - high marks on color choice on that one aspect but the 'Handcrafted in Firenze' stamp, is just.. not.. doing it.. for me. I get it. It is pride... and it is one of the aspects of the watch I love - that it is made by people who are proud watchmakers. But there just has to be a better way...

There are simply too many letters in the word 'handcrafted in Firenze' and to fit it in a small space is very challenging from a design standpoint. The Italian 'a mano a Firenze' (yes, I google-translated it, so it's probably wrong but the point is, that it) has less letters and it is in my humblest opinion - more "true to form". Firenze is in Italian, might as well do the script in Italian, no?

Not asking to be flamed. Just voicing an opinion, and hopefully learn something (like the real translation of 'handcrafted' in Italian).

Overall, this is a very beautiful watch. The blue dial is a very good choice.

I really like the deep blue color of the dial, but don't like any of the other changes (the offset CNS logo, the offset "Handcrafted..." logo, and the minute numerals instead of the hour numerals for everything but 12)--I much prefer the original, less busy and more symmetrical dial design, and its various incarnations, over this one, and would love to see this blue used in the old dial configuration.

They really nailed the 'right blue' on this one. I wonder how it would look with blue lume... heh, my TRU BLU would be jealous..!!!
