I went from like 6-7 down to one sole keeper...pro crono....used the try blu to help partially fund a bremont supermarine inbound in the am.

I’ll admit my enthusiasm has waned – I hoped a giant corner was going to be turned with the re-launch, but of course the direction failed to impress on any level.

I think I will ultimately keep a single watch myself, likely the Pro GMT. It’s not all bad though. The demise of Anonimo as we knew and loved has tempered my enthusiasm for watches overall (at least in a temporary sense)…as I simply cannot transfer that enthusiasm casually to other brands. Not just the buying but even the searching has lessened (and at this point I am fine with this).

I will also admit to being influenced by a friend who deliberately chosen to wear one watch exclusively for an extended period. He’s loving it, has really bonded with the watch and I am beginning to think I want to try something similar. His choice a Pam 372 (with a variety of gorgeous straps) and I have a feeling I could follow a similar path for a while…

I'm down to one as well - Drass n gold chrono. I've got it listed but am hesitant. Don't want to be the last one without a chair when the music stops but the movement is simple so I should be able to maintain it I would think.

YEah ive seen it listed for some time, nice piece!! Overall in bummed as i really loved the brand, but the company is non existent at this point that I have seen, you cant resell them even at practically free, and i have moved on...Will likely always love my Pro Crono though as its just one of the baddest watches ever made....it stayed...I think any of the Pros would be keepers IMO.

I understand you guys is simple as you said. On me still the fact of the Anonimo Bug ! Because of all you mentioned before so many rare Anonimo pieces pop everywhere. I add some to my collection and really happy lately woth My Dino Zei Nemo Cyan dial ! BUT... It's a Brand named Zenith with a so cool watch the Pilot 20 a 48mm guy who make me feel like when first time I saw my first Anonimo. And wearing it a lot ! Anonimo is history now, period. As Nelson said, unfortunately the old guard is history. It does appear the new ownership speaks for itself. I am flabergasted they do not like selling new watches!

Moving right along, I too took the Zenith plunge too. It was a coincidence, but I too have a Zenith Pilot with an annual calendar pilot on order. It is a refreshing feeling to know that the manufacturer is actually making my watch right now, and there is no bumper crop of models on eBay, likely now or ever.

I like the avant-garde styling of my Zenith, the fact that they are backed by a competent bunch of investors, and a similar band of ravenous followers similar to Anonino. I miss the way it was just a couple years ago, but fr now on will look forward to Anonimo's next act with cautious optimism.

I have also contemplated selling my four anonimos but no there is no one who really wants them I have not worn any of them for a while just very sad knowing there are watchmakers in Firenze not making beautiful watches anymore I have since moved on to other brands also just makes me sad that this forum at one time was so lively with enthusiasm but I know it will soon be disbanded but we can all remember how great it was if anyone wants my timepieces pm me
