Used to be to strive for Gold is number 1....now Bronze is THE prize to strive for!....i wonder of the OLYMPICS will follow the trend! :) :)
From Anonimo this Morning....
I can see a Marlin Bronze Green Dial... and Dino Zei Argonauta with a Anonimo logo on dial and numeral @ 6, also the Marlin Bronze chocolate dial ( something not new I think )

Green dial in response to the new Panerai bronze model? (The PAM 382 is a bronze Submersible with green dial.)
I knew that Anonimo had to respond to Panerai adopting bronze.
Loving that Argonauta - didn't think we were going to see another Argo!
For Italian watch industry... Bronze were always there in a lot of instruments but almost none in wristwatches... Until Anonimo.
Panerai as a Older relative... considering Anonimo the youngest, both were on Bronze but as you know Anonimo was more active playing with Bronze alloy since 2006 until now.
Panerai released the one you mention the 382 for 2011... but wristwatch talking Panerai only have one release as a Prototype made of Bronze in the past exactly on 1985.
For reference: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f75/pan...st3623996.html
This Prototype was made around 1985 Code name " SLOB " and is the predecessor to the final titanium watch given to Comsubin (Italian navy) circa 1980- 1988.

If Panerai release after 26 years the 382... I don't think so Anonimo, his beautiful Bronze creations has been created as a response about dial color or in term of material.
Reference about Panerai material here : http://2011.panerai.com/en/highlight...als-bronze.php
Well... finally We only share the Italian Design... because Anonimo is the only one who had the Italian Heritage now.
