    DIY: Strap Changing Base

    Hey guys,

I don't have a strap changing base. So what I used to do was either tape the watch down, ask for help, or hold the watch between the knees. This is obviously prone to misalignment, scratching or worse, breaking screws - which has happened.

So, I decided to make my own base out of cardboard (didn't have wood lying around), some screws, extra ear plugs, scotch tape. Haha

I must admit, it looks terrible. Haha! But it works. It's so easy, safe. And instead of dreading the changes, I now look forward to changing straps regularly.

I will make a prettier one later. But for now, I'm cool with this.

So, for anyone still doing it the hard way, here's something you can try. You can use cotton, cloth or rubber if you don't have a bag of ear plugs.

    Cheers!

    Cool man well done.

You can get a cheap case holder so you can adjust to any watch.

Yeah you can get one but you know me, I'm impatient haha! I don't like waiting weeks for something if I can do it myself.

Plus, I only have this Anonimo. But yes, if I have another brand which is sized different, I'll order the holder as well.

My main plan is to find a nice wood box for tools, straps. And on top, I'll make a kind of case holder, so everything's integrated.
