I am a new member of the Anonimo Club

I just wanted to stop by and say a quick hello. I just picked up my first Anonimo in a trade, and, WOW!! I love this thing! Anyhow, I have been reading some things about the company, and it seems like they are in somewhat of a downward spiral. Shame, as this piece I just picked up shows me they can certainly build a great piece.

    Have a great day!Name: anonimo.jpg

    Congrat!! Looks awesome!
Downward spiral is probably not the best words for nimo these days - dead and gone, maybe? Cheers

congrats! At least with that piece if you ever need work done on it, any competent watchmaker will have an easy go I would guess. So Anonimo being dead isn't as big of a deal I don't think......Looks great!

Well, let's put it this way..it knocked a Pelagos off of my wrist, and I have not been back to it since then. As a matter of fact, I put the Pelagos out for trade. That is how much I like this watch!

Welcome, great look an fit and high praise over the Pelagos enjoy. Definitely base models are the way to go during these dire times... not much can go wrong and probably a fix any competent watchmaker can do. BTW if you want to trade down your Pelagos I got the perfect nimo for you lol.

I agree, the more astute watchmaker may even be able to work on more complicated pieces without too much of a hassle. I am not as turned off as many others out there. I also dont subscribe to the idea that all anonimos are destined to become "expensive paperweight" within the next few years because a) they are no loger expensive b)many watches don't break after a few weeks (unless it's a Tag :p ).

i say as long as you have access to a good watchmaker in the event of an actual fault, just enjoy these amazing watches at a bargain.
