Having never seen an Anonimo in person, I decided to dip my toe in the water on this Millemitri Deep Blue LE. I got her for a great price from a very nice fellow on that auction site.

I haven't yet had a chance to take some proper photos, but here are a couple of quick shots I took the first day I wore her. In the background you'll see what passes for a beach up here in the NW.

Love the case finishing and muted blue dial. Feels great on my wrist too! Forza Italia!

Big Congrats SBD!!! We were bidding against each other for this one on the auction site so I'm very glad to see it went to someone with great watch appreciation on this site (You got a great deal!). A really wonderful looking piece...love the simplicity of the Millemetri dial and the Deep Blue LE version is oh so sweet!!!

Great choice for your first Anonimo (As I'm sure you know, your first Anonimo quickly leads to a second...).

Enjoy this one and wear it in the best of health.

Definitely a beautiful watch! One of the cleanest, easy to read dial that Anonimo has.

It's hard not to love the blue dial too! Congrats!

Sorry about that! I've been on the hunt for my first Anonimo for a while, and believe me I lost my fair share of auctions and WUS sales. I too feel like I got a great deal, and I am fortunate that the seller is a class act and honored my winning bid with a smile. I actually offered him a much higher price to let me buy it instantly several days before. He rolled the dice and it ended up working in my favor.

I really am pleased to finally experience the true hand-finishing that these skilled fellows produce. There is definitely a 'character' to this watch. I know you guys understand -- probably better than I do. Now the problem will be deciding which one to go after next

Congrats! It does look great and it's nice to see you took it to the beach as well, gotta love the rock beaches in the NW USA. Wear it well and thanks for sharing.
