    Kodiak variations

    Hi all,

Looking for some information on various Kodiak Straps, specifically about their comfort level. The San Marco's Kodiak was by far the most supple, comfortable strap I've ever worn but my other Kodiaks, while being very nice, are not in the same league. My question is are all later Kodiaks with the metal plates supple like the San Marco's strap, or is this make up specific to that particular model?

    Thanks!

    Dane

My Magnum had the metal spring in the strap and for me I could not wait to get it on another strap. I felt the older Kodiak that did not have the spring in them were far more comfortable.

Thanks Michael. Have you tried a San Marco before? and if so was it as supple?

I saw you sold the Magnum. I would have grabbed it had I not just bought a 'Big 1'

I've had a kodiak with a metal tab and a kodiak without. The one without was very supple and comfortable - it was on a d-date. The one with the metal tab - extremely uncomfortable. Had to try to make it conform to my wrist shape. Never got all the way there.

Thanks ecunited. I'm wearing a non-metal kodiak at the moment, and while very comfortable the San Marco's was something else. Hopefully Anonimo make another strap that's equally as good, though I can't say anything jumps to mind.

San Marco Strap is very well done the wuality of leather is so far better than the regular ones... But better that that one is the thicker strap 22mm/20mm of the TP52.... is kind of dark brown and red inner side... so thick and very well done so padded... also so comfortable... i got one for my friend nad feels like no other kodiak ( and I have many ) the ones with the metal plate in the middle are also so comfortable and they take less stress and looks better... also the Kodiak's with the natural color inner side and padded are so nice too thicker than the regular kodiaks we found on the millemetri or polluce also militare.

Thanks Nelson! Might have to try and track a TP-52 strap down.

The video has come up as private?

TP52 strap hard to find now... best of the best... better than San marco Strap.

    Video is public now.

    Re: Kodiak variations

I bet it is, will have to keep my eyes out. I liked that the SM strap was quite thing though as allowed it to slip under cuffs relatively easily for its size.

Some nice straps in the video Nelson. So the ones with the natural underside are the pick of the 'regular' bunch?
