    Lug Bars and Screws

    Hi guys,

Finally got a system worked out for removing/installing the screws AND THEN while getting the other strap I lose the screw! Damn amateur move.

Anyone here know where I can get a set of lugs and screws for the millemetri mod 2000?

For now, Im using lug bars and screws from a suunto. The bar is 1mm and the head is just slightly larger than the nimo. So I had to file it a little for the head to fit in the hole, so it sort of fits now but the screw heads are exposed by half a milimeter. Not pretty but thankfully it works. Hoping this is temporary till a kind soul directs me to a new set.

    Thanks in advance!

Just got a reply from aboutime, they said they have some in stock so I placed an order but in my impatience earlier, I decided to try out a set from Benrus, they have 22mm sets which look similar to ours for $10 bucks. So I will try them out and get back to you guys.

The Anonimo screwbar is so much smalller than most brands and if they only made a tool like kobold or any fricker case watch it would make things so much easier! With the new system out i dont see them helping us change straps on older watches, alot of guys just use a good old springbar!

Yeah, I'm using the bars from an old Suunto T3 heartrate monitor. They're a little slimmer at 1mm, compared to 1.5mm for anonimo. The Suunto bar heads are slightly larger tho at 2.1mm approx, so I had to file them a bit to get them to fit into the Anonimo. The heads are also taller by .1-.25mm as you can see in the pic. However, it does work well enough as a temp, so I'll take it for now.

Anonimo should really include a set of bars with every set of bracelets or bands that they sell since these are too easy to lose or even break!

    Re: Lug Bars and Screws

So, I lost a lug screw while changing a strap and went about the process of ordering a replacement. Apparently, we cannot upgrade to hex screw and lug bars if your watch has the rather cumbersome flathead system. No prob, I can live with that. I was directed to order directly from Stoll and their communication has been awesome, but wait until you hear the price! $15 for one screw and $38.50 for a lug bar. I will for certain be a lot more careful when changing straps in the future!

I did go to Abouttime first, but they sent me to Stoll. Must be either something new or they just didn't have stock.
