Demagnetize it--a watch can sometimes get magnetized in shipment, due to various scanning processes, among other things. One out of about every four watches I receive in the mail needs to be demagnetized. Your local shop can do it, though I personally have my own $15 demagnetizer that works great, and if you search the threads here you will find other interesting suggestions on how to demagnetize the watch--if that doesn't work, leave it at your AD for a check.

Demag as suggested. If that does not solve it most likely the balance may be out of whack.

Man that's a bummer . Hope the demag works. If not, I hope the seller will stand behind the watch and work something out with you. If things aren't handled to your satisfaction, please give them negative feedback on the bay and rat them out here so we can avoid them!

That's a bit harsh on the negative rating etc when it might not even be their fault especially if the watch was packaged properly. Shipping more often than not can magnetise the watch or even cause the balance to have shifted slightly. I've opened my fair share to re-regulate them after shipping and its to me not the seller's fault (if packaged properly) and just part and parcel of buying online.

BTW congrats on the MOD.2005, very unique piece
