Off Topic post Re: Most popular Anonimo model ?

The most common and popular was the Millemetri and or Millemetri Polluce. The Polluce models were nearly all limited additional runs of the Millemetri which featured a large 10mm crown. They came with a slew of different dial colors in steel, Ox-Pro, DRASS, & Bronze. All rare, durable, models that stood the test of time. The original D-Date and Cronoscopio models weren't far off from here. For many this is their grail.

The more prestigious, rare, and expensive Anonimo beyond that is surely the Professionale. The Pro was a 2000 Meter diver (6000), GMT (6001), and Chronograph (6002) and Power Reserve (6003). The PR was likely the most rare but the chronograph was surely the coolest. It was an excellent watch with greater specs and wrist presence far beyond the Millemetri Polluce and had a few different dial colors but were mostly some variant black, blue, or yellow with flat, waffled, & wavy textures. A dark blue "FIRENZE" dialed Professionale came out as one of their final releases. They were all stainless steel except for another super-rare last run of Titanium and Gold ones that are impossible to find. All grails for sure.

The Dino Zei Nautilo was an extremely popular Dino Zei, and the champagne dial bronze was always considered a unicorn then and now. It came in bronze or steel and featured a power reserve complication and black, champagne, silver, and blue dials. Most agree they are the most elegant looking Anonimo's and Dino Zei's ever made and are grail worthy.

The Dino Zei San Marco featured a GMT, date and countdown feature and was produced in Ox-Pro, DRASS, and Bronze. It had black and dark brown dials and was emblazoned with the San Marco Lion on the dial. Some came with a special plaque as a sort of trophy. It is one of the rarest, busiest, and most revered models by far and is a sought after grail for many to this day. This IS the "King of the Hill".

Yeah, it seemed like everyone had one a while back. It was similar to the Millemetri with a lower water resistance rating and no helium valve. It was popular, but not rare compared to most of the other models.

Millemetri Polluce is the one I have,.. love it,.. understated. Wish there was a place to get it serviced though!

I have one of the prototype series Marlins. Like it a lot.
Never expected a case this size to feel so comfortable on the wrist.

I remember looking for Dino Zei Nautilo in bronze with champagne dial at some point and it was almost impossible to find. Definitely a Unicorn.
I don't think I've seen one for sale in the last few years. San Marcos were easier to find.

Speaking of unicorns and Nautilos, it took me over a year of looking to find my bronze Nautilo with the blue dial. Antropa, keep hunting!
