    New addition to the family

    Hi all,

I've been tossing up for some time what my ideal daily wearer should be, and was looking for something to meet the following criteria:

    • high value to quality ratio
    • fits under most shirt cuffs
    • not too ostentatious
    • uniqueness

I looked at many watches, but kept coming back to the Millemetri as something that ticked all the boxes. I used to own a 10th Anni Millemetri which was my first Anonimo, but I sold it to fund other purchases as I found it a touch on the small side. I put up a WTB post and a member named Gene offered me up a Millemetri that had just been refinished and I snapped it up. The transaction could not have been easier, thanks Gene. I'm pleased to say the SS version with black dial feels more substantial on the wrist and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I decided to grab a few happy snaps on the weekend, with the new Mille and other members of my 'nimo family!

Re: New addition to the family

Thanks for the kind words all

The Mille has been a great addition, and has been worn for 2 weeks straight since the day I got it. I love that it can be put in all situations and not look out of place, and being less expensive means I'm not quite so concerned about damage.
As for the San Marco vs the Pro Crono it's a tough one. Both make a great argument for being THE DADDY and are so unique in their own way... but for me the Pro Crono is the nicest watch on the market and it's definitely not going anywhere.

Nelson: Haha you're right, their bed has been a nice addition too and arrived on the same day as the Millemetri. A match made in heaven...
