    Re: new model : Tricolore

While I like the new dial color (ivory?), I think it is more than stretching it a bit to call this a "new model" ("Tricolor")--of course it is simply an updated version of the Sailor Diver, minus the sail boat, and add the Italian tri-color flag bar (interestingly this is nearly identical to the tricolor bar used in Frederico's new line, Full Carbon, and originally seen (at least) in the Dino Zei Marinai...)--for the black dial version at least, a very minor change indeed. While I actually like getting rid of the sail boat, and the new light dial color looks attractive--I am surprised they gave this watch a new name--most other companies would simply call this the "New Sailor Diver," or "Sailor Diver II"--if this is what Anonimo considers a new "design," they need to increase the number (or quality) of the members in their design pool.

    Very cool watch!

As a new entry, I get it. It is an improvement, that made the excelent Sailor, even better.

I echo Timefleas notion that it is not an epic change. But, it looks great and I believe it will bring in a lot of new owners that want a qualified Italian diver. This is really sweet. However, this just ups the ante for thier first BIG post Federico change.

I say good job focusing on the details and making your current winners even better. Assuming a similar starting price, I think this beats many current divers out there in this price range hands down. It especially beats them in the "classy looking" department.

Got to say I'm mostly with Timefleas on this one.

Yes, it freshens Sailor/Diver a little but it's hardly new model territory... are Anonimo themselves classifying this as a new model or just a new version (and the post therefore is a little mis-titled)?

That said, I prefer this to the sailboat....JayVeez is right, perhaps developing the tricolour theme might get them some traction on the entry level "Italian Diver" front....though a little more effort could easily produce some even graphically stronger dial design.

    Re: new model : Tricolore

I think this new Sailor version is a grey color dial... but remember guys Peschio said " New Model "... Anonimo don't say anything about that one... to the Public... or even we don't get the Tricolore from the report of new models and pictures from Topper Jewelers... BUT in June in the 2011 Catalog I find it under SPORT & PERFORMANCE LINE... the blue dial Tricolore :

i agree with timefleas as well that this appears to be a newer iteration of the Sailor Diver.

or perhaps they could have marketed this one as The Sailor Diver - TRICOLORE Edition, because that's pretty much all it is, right?

i wonder if a change in the crown, like the HI-DIVE or MARK II Cronoscopio crown, would have made enough of a true "change" to call it an entirely new model?

ALso if they add to the bigger crown the Anonimo symbol would be great too... like the one in the Sailor series

I think it's quite a nice entry level piece, though I'd prefer this Tricolore...
