New Rubber Strap Installed on RM ANNI

Just wanted to share a little into on the New Rubber Strap....

Overall I really like it so far. It has a very soft feel to it and is very flexible. It doesn't hold shape....if you release the strap it springs back straight again, BUT again, is very very soft and flexible. I have never felt a rubber strap quite like this.

It's also very thick. It looks as thick as the Kodiak Strap installed on my Pro Crono.

The back of the strap has a nice 'grippy' checkerboard molded into it, which seems to work well. It also has "Casemakers in Firenze Since 1939" molded in the buckle side, and "Anonimo" molded in the other.

I hope it holds up well....

looks very nice... lover the RM.

The new straps looks so good but I think the material on this one is a dirt catcher....no as the previous one Vanilla smell.

The new style have the same vanilla scent?

    Thanks for sharing !

Looks great! How does one get the deployment clasp to work so well? Mine just slides up and down the strap...

Absolutely love the RM, one of my favorites of the Anonimo line, though I think it deserves better than just a rubber strap...I actually like the bracelet on this one myself. Enjoy!

I second Peter on my sentiments towards the RM, one of my favourites for sure.

I like the new rubber strap too, though I'm a rubber fan and think it works well together.

    Thanks for the compliments.

I agree the Professionale RM does deserve a higher quality band, but I have other Anonimos, including a Pro Crono that has the Kodiak Strap. This is just something different for me right now. I plan on trying a Pro Chrono style Kodiak Strap with metal inserts and yellow stitch sometime in the future.

The new Rubber Strap doesn't have any smell, sorry... No vanilla

    Enjoy!

agreed. definitely a great looking strap on a great looking timepiece.

that being said, another illustration of my commentary here regarding anonimo's changing philosophy of image and branding. previous anonimo rubber straps, such as the one i picture here, do not feature the brand or logo on the visible side of the strap. do you have a preference one way or the other? jk

Well my frined Im still waiting for an answer about the new one if is a dirt catcher... I have many of the old style and they are awesome ( same as the one you have ) the new one looks thicker than the old style but again you can see the quality on the old one, also the vanilla scent is on my strap since day one as now after 2 year and some...about the anonimo show up is fine but I would prefer just a really solid logo.

Nelson, I've been wearing the watch for the past 4 days and have not noticed it collecting dirt. If you wipe it with a cloth full of lint, some lint does stick to it, but not dirt.

I had the old rubber strap attached to the RM before this one... I liked the old style too, but I like the thicker, softer feel of the new one better.
