    San Marco just landed!!!

So i sold off all my nimos except my Pro Chrono Waffle......until this one arrived today :) Now im back up to 2!!

First off, this is the most pristine watch I have ever bought preowned.....amazing...The seller is one i will happily buy from again, Hess Fine Auctions, Jeff Hess (Current US President of Ball USA i think)..not sure. Either way the watch was FAR better than described and photos in the listing showed. Its literally spotless.

The skinny: About 46mm, Power Reserve indicator, D-Date countdown timer at 7:00 position, Rotating time zone, GMT Function activated by push button at 10:00 position, Massive single sealed case, OX-Pro hardening treatment, Beautiful chocolate brown strap, All in all, my new FAVORITE Anonimo....Heavy as a beast too. Cool winding stem as it turns only 90 degrees and a spring forces it out....To close, you push it in and only turn 90 degrees to water seal it. No clue how to really use the D Date function yet??? Nelson, you gotta know how to use this!!

    Well heres the pics....

hey nelson, how does the caseback open? Is there actually a case back once the screw is loosened?

Ok soon i send you a copy of the san marco guide.

It's monoblock so if you unscrew torx on bezel only take apart bezel and shows dial thats it.

To really opened the special tool is needed to release movement then pull all together.

Congrats on the purchase Eric! I may just have been bidding against you...

Glad it went to someone on here, great piece at a nice price. I really miss my SM, but I might track down a Drass version next time I take the plunge.

Nice 1 - too bad I would need the mini mini version

Interesting how you trimmed the nimos and are now building it back up

Haha, that's ok, I've already owned one (number 112 to be precise) so it's only fair that someone else gets to enjoy the beat that is the SM for a while! I thought it was going to go for a bargain, but I was in two minds about spending the money...I must say I did wake up in the morning hoping that I'd get a nice congratulations from the 'bay...oh well

I love the original Ox-Pro version. The original dial works a lot better than the newer style with 'Handmade in Firenze', but I do like the chocolate colouring on the dial.

ps How nice is the strap??!
