Could be a return to OxPro. My WayFarer II looks like that. DLC is generally not that solid although something about this photo makes it look computer generated.

If they back to OxPro... Could be a disaster... If they can't handle well the repair service... The peeling off and white spots is the issue on that finish or may be they can make black the Drass process... I experience on my Cartier Santos Chrono the satin DLC finish and the shiny DLC applied to the border of the case on my Santos chronometer, Ball Nightrain the Brushed DLC so who knows may be they develop something new... Let's see in the near future.

Carbon with dive watches???? The design concept just seems weird to me.

Carbon fiber is now used in maritime and diving applications. So, regardless of aesthetic considerations, the concept is ok to me. Other brands are jumping into it too. Hublot bumps into my mind.

That's funny I have a 4 year old OxPro Wayfarer II that looks like new. It's been diving and worn consistently for many years. Now I do clean it off before storing so I have not had an issue. The Drass finish to me was far more easy to damage and scratch. I was so glad I did not get rid of my OxPro one when I got the Drass WayFarer II. The Drass was gone in two months since it was showing wear fast. I guess everyone has different experiences.

DLC can be done in a multiple of colors and note it takes on the finish of the surface below it. Again this looks more computer generated and not a photo.
