    Solid Paperweight... Blue!

    Anonimists!!!

This is a cool Blue dial!

I can't understand how Rolex make the horrible DSSD Blue dial just horrendous ! Lack of creativity... Looks like an A B O M I N O design !

Great looking Pro, Nelson! And, I agree the blue DSSD is absolutely hideous! Same kind of blue you would expect to see on a $125 knock-off--one of those TV-sales watches that comes in ten different colors, adorned with "real" zirconium diamonds...

I love the blue dial CNS Professionale, especially the reverse, upside down case version (goofy but endearing). If things were different, I would love to have one to go with the waffle dial GMT.

That said I really like the Rolex Dí Blue edition and think itís come in for unwarranted criticism (especially the hyperbolic meltdown within the Rolex forums).
Itís simply a one-off dial for a special edition of one model.

I like the Dí Blue edition because itís sporty, relaxed and casual, even playful. It would be a great vacation, beach watch (though of course one could argue casual, beach and US$12,000 donít exist in the same space for most). The gradient color is subtle (Iíll bet most would not even spot it in real life) and I like the green DeepSea logo. Iíd love to see it on a quality black nato strap.

I have only seen it on the web and I don't think I mind it at all. This could change once I see it in the flesh. I prob still get the black one though if I am in the market for one .

Nelson's blue CNS Pro is great, the jury is still out on the Rolex--but honestly, in this forum, who cares all that much about the big R!
