Cool! More live pics are needed though.

I think he was trying to say they might get the Kodiak's back???

    I have hope for Anonimo!

That "report" is just recycling the PR kit--still too early to tell what the real nuts and bolts of the operation, and the offerings, will be like in the new era of Anonimo--optimistic or pessimistic--it is still simply a waiting game.
    Here today, here tomorrow...

Totally agree with Timefleas...'it is still simply a waiting game'....but seriously, why on earth is it a waiting game?

Just a suggestion but it is a widely used concept I believe…how about an actual press release outlining some comprehensive plans for the brand?
Perhaps the Sales and Marketing Director could busy himself with this rather than giving Tempus Fugit a poorly disguised rap on the knuckles to dispel rumors.
It’s pretty ironic that after a dubious ‘first contact’ with the media, people have to clarify something as basic as what strap will be used for the watches?

    Sadly, its kind of funny.

Even just live pictures of the watches will be nice and do more work then those write-ups and catalog. So far we have seen one. Why are we not seeing more? Are they ashamed of their babies that they have to keep them under wrap?

I think this might have nailed it. Were they ready for Baselworld? David Cypers left a couple of months ago -he was one party with the experience to bring product to the likes of SIHH and Baselworld.

We have only seen a single live shot of a watch which did not match the renderings (and I did not even notice when I first commented about the mismatched hour and minute hands (re the render) that the hands on the chrono subdials appear to be black on black subdials ie invisible)

I believe Korneevy is visting later today and at least he can descibe what he finds and possibly show us some more shots.

I hope the next conversation topic is not going to be that they should have postponed this launch until they were truly organised.

I keep searching the internet to try to find any information

Re: Some news from the blogsphere

Just left Baselworld after visiting most brands i was keen on seeing, and discovering a couple new ones with great looking watches. sadly, Anonimo has disappointed. Greatly.

I spent some ten mins in their booth, first stop on arrival... looked at their exhibit, about 6-8 watches are on display. None look attractive in my view, most are on par with the imagines in the computer rendered catalog. Dials are lifeless, DLC on cases looks plasticky and cheap. Somehow with all these tacky dials and colours, even cases started to look cheap and somehow ill fitted, similar quality to those of Chinese knock offs. Probably pure physiological, but the whole package was not impressive by any degree of imagination.

Inquired about pricing, the chap who worked the booth sort of indicated that they will go for €2.5K for simple 3 hand watches (sailor collection), € 4K for militare without complications, chronos for about 5k and dual time at €6k plus.

I can only say that they would struggle to stand out even if they were discounted by 50% MRRP. All of new models are clearly fashion watches, in my humble opinion, and have none if tool watch DNA left in them, so expect them to sell in a mall near you at bargain basement prices, next to Festina and Guess "timepieces" soon enough, after they fail to sell elsewhere.

There is only one watch that I would love to try on, non chrono militare in nautical bronze case, really looked classy and interesting and on par with the retired models. Forgot to ask how much they will try to sell that one for, unfortunately. Have taken a bunch of photos with my good camera, so watch this space, I will put them up once I get home tonight....

However, most outrageous thing about the BW this year is not the epic failure of Anonimo (aka "re-birth") but rather price of bottled water that was going at 6.50 Swiss francs, making it close to 5.50€. After having a couple drinks, i began to think that in retrospect, Anonimos wishful thinking MRRP almost started to make sense....

How was the traffic around their booth? Do you feel they(new anonimo) are enthusiastic about their offering?

I wonder would they appeal to those who are unaware of the historic models.
