16mm adapter on 18mm lug width

I wanted to use a 22mm strap on my frogman
Unfortunately the jays and kays metal adapter only come in 16mm lug width. The frogman is 18mm wide. My solution. O rings. If anyone wants free oring to do the same, just send me a self addressed stamped envelope. I have 96 extra o rings

Does the adapter makes the lug to lug width shorter or make the strap flare less?

    Neat workaround.

Btw, your 22mm spring bar may need a replacement soon, looks like bent on one side.

I used to cut the end off ballpoint pen refills. Crude, but it works. The main issue is that the force on the springbar can cause it to pop out, the farther it is from the point where it enters the lug.

this is about the narrow adaptor lug mount sliding on the springbar of a wider lug, not extending a short springbar for a wider lug.
