    1996 Gshock Catalog

Got a couple catalogs today. Here's a 1996 Gshock one, 15 pages. Of course I can't read much but the pics are cool. It includes a nice exploded diagram, a timeline, the Mudman, Code Name, Frogman, Skyforce, Nexax, Foxfire, I.C.E.R.C, and others. My phone pics aren't great but to give you an idea here's a peek:

I like those old Wide Temp WW5100/WW5300 from the early 80's :)

I dig the exploded view as a marketing tool to make it all seem so mechanically high tech.
A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn), makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value, not something to be wasted.

A man wearing an ostentatiously expensive watch makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers little.
