2 new additions, and possibly my new favorite!

I was a little unsure of the dated package and the need for 4 batteries, but I pulled the trigger on the PAG 40 and the PRG-40-SJ-1JF this week. I am so happy that I did! I know these have been abandoned for updated modules with atomic/solar, but I think this is the best looking pathfinder that Casio has ever put out. The display simply cannot be beat and I can't stop looking at it. I was worried that it might be too big since I have fairly small wrists, but it's actually quite comfortable(sleveless of course). Now that I have it in hand, I think the PRG-40-SJ-1JF could be the coolest, best looking outdoors/tactical/tool/etc...watch that I have ever laid eyes on. I'm pretty sure it's going to be my new favorite watch in my collection. I got the PRG-40-SJ-1JF from Chino watch and I was extremely pleased with their communication and service. 3 days from Japan to my doorstep! Incredible....And pics of course...

i really like the 40 styling too. this might sound strange, but to my eye these watches have a comfortingly retro style. i'm not sure which model i prefer of the two. the jdm is more subtle but the yellow el button seems like the more functional choice. i can see why you'd get both!

    Congrats! Great watch!!

Whats wrong with these pictures? On the first pic, your watch has an orange light button, and on the 2nd pic, its black?

Edit: oops I just realized that you bought two diffrent models at once haha

I wholeheartedly agree. I love my 40 - its display is the most legible ever, in my opinion. Congrats on getting two of what I hope is going to be a future classic - not from a financial point of view, but simply as an awesome watch. It's my go-to timepiece whenever I'm not sure what I'm about to encounter

P.S. It have found it's great for festivals when you might not be able to see quite so well....

Yeah, I like the all black version for every day stuff. It's slightly more subtle. The one with the orange accents will be my outdoor/camping/hiking/etc. watch.
