There should be another option for "I dont care the first thing about football or the NFL".

I hope the Eagles do well.

People in Philly take them really seriously, so it's just more of a quality of life thing for me living in the city. There's not much worse than unhappy Eagles fans.

My karmic pennance for being a lifelong Yankee fan is that I'm also a lifelong Jet fan. (Good thing I don't follow or care about football [I refer here to American football] all that much.)

When it comes to football in the rest of the world, I take no position (I do like to watch an occasional game) -- with the exception of the "Old Firm". Having traveled a bit in Scotland, I felt compelled to take sides. So, it is Celtic all the way.

Being a lifelong resident of New England, I've always been a fan of the Red Sox (baseball), Bruins (Hockey), Celtics (Basketball) & the Patriots (Football) - so of course I selected the Patriots! Brady is back and has the WR's to put up monster numbers again. Brady and coach Belichick make them a tough team to beat!
