    2310 Battery

Hey all. I need to find out real quick the kind of battery I need to get for my older 2310 Solar. Its been in the deep dark recesses of my dresser for the better part of 5 years, and I want to revive it.

    Anybody know?

    Thanks in advance!

why not just open the watch and look? It is probably a ctl 1616, but you may as well check

If it's the solar but non-atomic G2310 we're talking about here, then it takes the huge capacity ML2016 battery (the only other G-Shock to do so alongside the Frogman I believe).
The solar / atomic GW-2310 I think does use the CTL1616.

    That's correct.

And to OP, you should try to charge the watch up and see the rechargeable cell is still good (holding charge). they are suppose to be more reliable than CTl1616

G2310 has bigger battery and it will take you longer to charge it to up to full.
