Exclamation 24mm zulu mod on 1K Frogman.....love it!

Wasn't really sure whether the older adapters will fit the newer 1K frogman or not but decided to find out anyway.

Ordered both the adapters+24mm Maratac Zulu from CountyComm.

'Out of the box', the adapters don't fit all all...the holes don't line up with the lugs. Not really sure if I was doing anything wrong or what since I've seen pics of a zulu strap on 1K frogmans on the net .

Found out once I had slit the extra 'protruding' rubber from the adapter ends, the holes lined up perfectly. Then the adapters screwed in fine.

Love the new look (I had done a earlier mod on my Frogman with a nothced leather strap straight in the lugs but over time, didn't like the look).

Oh...did I mention the comfort . Don't think I'll go with the rubber straps for a while.

Nice, I like this solution better than the leather strap. Does the watch slip around at all, or stay in place?

Snug fit. VERY comfortable . But I have a 'flatter' wrist so most watches sit evenly on my wrist anyway (even my 55mm Invicta venom when I had that beast last year).

Looks like a great fit. Why orange though?

Just personal preference, but you might try one of these also...red; not orange...

Bob- That was exactly the strap that I was going to suggest, a bit subtler, color-wise.

That Froggie looks awesome on a nato/zulu.
