    5025b limited/rare?

    Hi,
I have a classic 25th anniversary 5025b white with the light gold details and more importantly; the unique screw back! As I love this watch, but don't have much info on it, can anybody tell me if it's anything special? Certainly not seen much around in the UK..?

They are getting more rare year by year but I'd say between it and the other 5025 Ocean Gray it's the lesser desired one and the sales prices tell the story. Ocean gray's go well in excess of 200 dollars new, Rising white not so much.

Thanks for the comments, it's a keeper then! ...was thinking of selling to get the new solar and radio tech but I'm too used to appreciating the screw back even the rise man, mud man, etc dont feel as robust..!

Limited, yes. Rare? Not so much.

It's not one of the most popular versions of the 5000, but because it is a 5000 (stainless steel case and screwback) it will hold it's value for collectors, but it probably won't increase in value very much. Of course, only time will tell.

No love for the Rising White DW-5000? I love mine! Not really rare. It's 4 years old and you can find them still.

White watch with gold buttons and gold back. OBV not for everyday wear. I do love mine. Hate the gold finish ... :)

555 I said it wrong. It actually got some love because when I tried to flip mine, it got most offers than other watches that I sold. However those offers don't make a good value like kung-fusion said. May be I should start to love it by not selling it. But stocking the spare band and bezel for instead.
