5600 and Master of G models - atomic vs. non-atomic poll <which do you have?>

I thought it might be interesting to see how many models we have in this forum of each model, and what the ratio between atomic (solar) and non-atomic models is.

Personally, I have a big bias towards the former, but the poll will speak for itself!

I have a gulfman, but not listed, so I just picked the one closest in feature (ie. atomic)

The results of this poll might be somewhat distorded.
In my case there are about 10 DW-5600E vs. 2 GW-M5600.
And 4 G-9000 in different colors but only one GW-9000.
Anyhow, by price and years sold the non atomic versions should be much more common then the atomic ones.
Unfortunally all the nice color versions are mostly sold in non atomic in the past. But in the MIRO series there are more atomic-solar included!

You're right - there probably isn't any 100% effective way to incorporate multiple watches of the same series. Not short of listing out every possible variation of each watch, and even then we wouldn't be able to accommodate more than one of each model.

But it would give us a normalized idea of how "popular" each atomic Master of G is against its non-atomic counterpart. Note I purposely did not include a comprehensive list of Master of G models; only those that have atomic editions.

You also mentioned that non-atomic versions have been around longer because the atomic models use a new technology - another great point. What's really interesting is that the atomic versions don't really seem like they are losing in the poll, despite this fact (and despite they are normally more expensive). I wonder why...

There are 2 kinds of DW5600

I have the C kind (older SS case with screw down caseback)

the other one is E kind (newer with 4 screws caseback and EL)

 I overlooked the DW-5600 in the list - I got one (the FIFA) so add one to the list.

I think it's probably safe to group that with the GW9100 category (nice watch, by the way). The reason I separated the GW9000 from the GW9010 was because it was a different module.

    Great watch - I envy your "C".
