    5600C Crystal ?

Can anyone tell me if the 'crystal' on a 5600-C is mineral glass or plastic?

    :thanks

Well, I'm not too sure about that, but my DW-5200 seems to have a very hard crystal. There is a little piece out of the crystal whick more looks loke a crack in glass (you need a magnifying glass to see it, sorry no pics). It could be that the original DW-5600C has these kind of hard glass too.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi Warden -

I agree with Holger and Sjors as I've often seen these old models with a decent chip, whilst without a hole.

They are thick, although not sure about the mineral or "official" hardened.

I think memeber CASIONERD may know the answer so hopefully he will drop in th rectify
