60 Minutes Just Isn't Long enough for a Chrono!

It just won't do for a digital or ana/digi! How stupid is a 1 hour chrono when you've got a 1 hour CDT?

I have a couple of analog chronos that only go up to one hour, but I didn't buy them to really use as a chrono, and they're pretty cheap. I can live with them.

Been wearing the wife's G-5110 today.

I actually enjoy it, but I had the chrono running while cooking dinner tonight. Had no clue how long dinner was going to take, but I just wanted to keep track of the time, and hell, I've got a chrono so why not. A couple of minutes after an hour had passed and I looked at the watch, and it's reading 2min something. I actually didn't know this watch only had an hour chrono. It's not mine afterall.

Anyway, the watch is fun to wear, but I buy these kind of watches to use as a tool. As a tool, this sucks. Rant over.

How about a Poljot 3133 movement, very famous and still used on many Russian chronos? It runs for just 30 minutes! Actually, all anyone needs is enough to time their 15 minutes of fame!

LOL the 3133 is a very famous movement! See, I can excuse mechanical chronos. Just not quartz. It's like someone didn't give the board enough real estate. You know? :)
