    6900 strap on a 7900?

Wondering about a future mod ... Will a replacement strap from a 6900 G-Shock fit a 7900 Rescue? Searched here and couldn't find a definitive answer, but Casio parts and service seems to list the 6900 straps as 16mm at the lugs and 26mm overall--the same as the 7900.

    Anyone made the attempt?

    Thanks.

Nope it wont. Unless you are willing to take out the shoulder pads...

The DW-9052 strap might be a better choice.

Just curious how the straps are different. The 6900 strap sure LOOKS like it would fit. How is the 9052 strap--or the original 7900--that different?

It's the part that attach to the watch lug that is different. 6900 has stepped end and the 7900 is more flat. Hope this helps.
