9400 help. Battery stuck at m, is that normal?

Olive 9400 on my wrist since end September. Battery level still at M. Is that normal? Wrist time around 3 days out of a week, indoors most of the time with T-shirts.

Give it some sun on a window sill or better yet outdoors in direct sunlight for several hours. You should see it go back up to high. But for it to stay on high, it will need a few more hours in the sun to fully charge.

As Rocat said, take off the watch and park it in the sunshine for a couple of days. Indoor light is practically useless for charging solar watches -- the solar panel's total surface area is only the size of a small coin, and the battery is large enough to power the watch in total darkness for several months.

According to the chart in the manual, if the GW-9400 is at the very bottom of the "medium" range it can take 16 hours of DIRECT sunlight to get it to "high" and another 5 hours to reach "full."

With "sunlight through a window" it can take 79 and 22 hours to charge to the same levels, respectively.

Indoor lighting is so weak in comparison that Casio won't even show the ridiculous amounts of time it would take, but extrapolating from that same chart, it would take 1400 hours and 437 hours.

    Yes, that's normal.

As others have said, more sunlight is the answer.

Mine is the same way, had it outside a few days ago but with the winter sun it was at high and then dropped back down to medium. Figure a few more days outside in the sun and it should stay at high. One thing I noticed is that my Olive one drops quicker than my Black one probably due to me using the light more to read the screen inside, that and it hasn't gotten that much wrist time with my other watches. Just let it get a tan for a few days and it will be fully charged.

I was waiting for 2 weeks for a sunny day which finally did the trick and moved from M to H with 2 hours of direct sunlight

It might drop back down to medium but if you get a few more days of extended hours in sunlight will charge it in full and keep it in the high level for most of the winter months and if it gets enough wrist time, you will be fine. Both my Black Rangeman and Frogman are in the high level and get enough wrist time in my rotation. My Olive one is the one that I don't get to wear that much just because I work in an office and it is harder to read and hate constantly using the light to check the time. I love the look of the it and and think I will wear it more once the spring rolls around. It does take a lot to get it initially charged but now that you are there, it is just maintaining it.

^my thoughts exactly. ive only just gotten the green rangeman and its really annoying to read in the office. its just a crap display in general (compared to other negs) which is why i'll be doing a module swap as soon as i can get a hold of a +ve one.

mine was on M when i got it too, took more than 10 hours or direct sunlight to bump it to H. leaving it there for another day or so (been partially cloudy) to make sure its full :)
