    Adult Swim Metalocalypse x Casio G-Shock DW-6900

    Adult Swim Metalocalypse x Casio G-Shock DW-6900 | Hypebeast

Casio's G-Shock has teamed up with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim on a second collaborative release. This latest drop revolves around Metalocalypse, a flash animated comedy created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha about the hilarious exploits of a fictitious world-famous half-American/half-Scandinavian death metal band called Dethklok. This limited edition version of the G-Shock DW-6900, known as the DW-6900FSAS-1GJOU, will release exclusively in North America in early December, and features a gunmetal grey case, details printed on the watch band, and the words 'METAPOCALYPSE' in red on the watch face as well as a red skull logo that lights up with the backlit illumination. Look for this special watch at select G-Shock stockists soon.

I like the adult collaboration idea, but this is by far one of the worst executions.

Custom band, custom dial, custom EL, custom caseback....

....and yet it still looks like a regular 6900 to anyone more than a few feet away

    "JAPAN Y"... interesting.

I didn't think the DW6900s are made in Japan anymore.

I'd wear it if it were shaped like Meatwad, but this seems like a lazy collab job

Ho Hum. C'mon Casio. Yet another Collabo with the lame FS module? They tricked us and threw it in the Wu collabo at the 11th hour, and they use it again in this one...please retire the FS module...
