    Advice on this DW-6900

    Hey all.

First time posting in the G-Shock forum, and I have a question about a DW-6900:

RED G-SHOCK DW-6900 GREAT CONDITION - Cambridge Jewellery & Watches For Sale - Kijiji Cambridge Canada.

Just looking for some advice on condition, and if it's genuine, or a copy.

    Thank you.

From the one pic you provided...it appears to be the real deal. A picture of the back of the 6900 would be good. It does look genuine from this pic however.

It looks legit. It very closely resembles my sister's G-shock. I haven't looked at it in a while, but I think they're the same one.

    Re: Advice on this DW-6900

Caseback isn't the best way to proove either it's genuine or fake, casebacks on fakes are very close to original. Best way to look is overall quality and especially the numbers on the LCD, they are usually diffrent from genuine modules Casio uses.

This one looks genuine. Seller saying he bought it for $140 is either BS to sell better or he just got a bad deal.

If you are afraid, check Amazon, same model for $61

Thank you, Crater for your thoughts on this. I contacted the seller and offered $40 and I'm waiting to hear back. He's only about 10 minutes away, so I won't be wasting too much time if I check it out. As for the original $140 price, if he bought it at Sears, or The Bay, I believe he paid that price.
