advice on gw-3000b metal band transplant (photo of my gw6900 metal band)

I have managed to find a new metal band for the gw-3000 series (the 3000b) for £71.
Does any one know exactly what parts i need to fit the metal band i.e. pins and little spacer tubes whatever they are?

I have replaced my resin band for a metal one on my gw-6900 and i was that impressed with the comfort and appearance that decided to go for the 3000b transplant.

I have been told i need 2 sets of screws & rods + a set of spacers
I have read somewhere i can make the rods from the ink tube of a Bic pen.

You can use the screwbars that were used to hold on your resin strap. These are the long female screws and the short male screws.

The spacers are about 2mm long and fit inside the end of the bracelet endpieces - the long female screws pass through them and the end lug on the watch. Any 2mm long, thin-walled tube should work OK, and I can imagine how two short pieces of Bic pen refill tubing might just do the trick.

ETA: As marckoo points out below, you will also need two adapters as shown in his excellent post.
