    Aftermarket straps for GA-2000

From G-Central. I like that Casio is coming out with more models with standard lugs that can accept standard straps without using adapters.

Quick Release Replacement Bands for G-Shock GA-2000

owners who are worried that they might be at the mercy of Casio when it comes to replacement bands can rest assured that “quick release” straps from other manufacturers will also fit the GA-2000.

This video review from TimeToGo Travel And Timepieces (at 5:25) shows the GA-2000 swapping straps with a Barton quick release silicone watch band. The proper band size to use is a 24 millimeter width as seen on an aftermarket band in this forum review and mentioned in the video review.

According to G-Central on Twitter, Casio has released their official GA-2000 replacement straps in the U.S. They run $30-$40 each.

its finally happening! on the back of all those lacklusture band and box collabs years ago, i put forth the notion how beneficial and lucrative it would be to do a self custom option (by non wis) with plenty of bands available and its finally coming to life only thing i didnt think of was, it means a bunch of diff. models are all going to have the same boring lug design. even worse, a generic one shared across many different bands. not sure how i feel about that haha

    ps. that link is borked
