    All Metal Shock?

All metal bezel, screwback, shock resistant, 200m water resistant......but alas, it isn't a Casio MRG.

    Sorry

It is my old Timex Ironman Shock dress watch. The resin band was starting to get all crusty so I decided to get a metal bracelet for it.

Getting a replacement band or bracelet was quite difficult since the look and shape of the watch makes it hard to match. Additionally pretty much all types I've tried would have required some modification to get the band to fit on the top 12o'clock slot(ie the shoulder of the first link needed some reduction because the pin holes are deeply recessed).

I don't think it looks too bad for a more sleek look compared to my GShocks.

    What do y'all think?

I quite like it, in a quirky, retro kind of way.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Came out great, looks like it came that way. I'm also a big Timex fan, haven't ever seen that model before, very cool!
Experience is what you end up with when you didn't get what you wanted.

Yes, that is the crown at the 6. Makes for a very snag free watch

The crown also doubles as the illume button (all that very unlike Timex ->Casio GShock muscle memory).

What pics do you want to see?

I like the watch for its metal bezel and screwback construction regardless of the strap type. With metal bracelet, I like it better.
