Amazing deal for colorful F-91W (Too good to be true?)

Just found this on eBay. Are these legit?! US $5.69 shipped worldwide. Wow!

1PCS CASIO F-91W Watch with Alarm Clock Ultra-thin LED - eBay (item 120615115711 end time Sep-28-10 12:16:12 PDT)

Looks too cheap to be true. I'm tempted...

Do you think they are fake?

    Cheers,

    G.

Sounds fishy!!!! that kind of money will not even pay for the shipping "worldwide".

Fake. Casio doesn't make those colours.
The Search function on vBulletin forums isn't very smart. If you want to search for a complete string in the G-Shock forum, or for posts which include multiple words, use Google, and enter site:forums.watchuseek.com/f17 into the search box. Then use normal google syntax after that to enter your search.

I'm not sure what to make of these; whilst Casio don't make these colours (to my knowledge at least), these look genuine. Look at the text under the crystal, and the module; it all looks right. Hard to imagine there would be much of a margin in faking £8 watches.

There was an Italian seller on eBay a while ago who had unbranded ones; identical in every respect apart from the word Casio.

Here's a picture from another seller(sorry about the size) showing the watch close up:

Might be something funny going on around the edge of the crystal, but that might just be the camera angle.

Maybe someone grabbed a couple of hundred modules and made new colorful straps and are now seling them as CASIO's...

Who Knows.... It's a weird case that's for sure...

The modules do look right, in both the original and David's post.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Looks like it was really too good to be true. I've checked out and the seller has other Casios and none of them is legit.

But I agree with David, Tribe... this one looks too real. I almost pull the trigger. That's scary.

    Thanx everyone, appreciate your help.

    All the best,

    G.

I wonder if the fakers got a hold of the equipment and expertise from the real factory to make these. It would be interesting to see the inside of these things.

The real ones are made in China, fakes probably are too.
    SPROING!!!!

(oops! Time for a new watch!)
