    Cool Analog Motors...

What kind of motors are inside analog G-Shocks? When I set the time on the LCD the arrows automatically moved to where they should be... (I didn't expect this to happen, very cool!)

Does it use stepper motors or what?

Yes, they use stepper motors. This is how they can sync the analog time with the digital time.

You'll notice that low-end G-Shocks and non-G Shock Casios move the minute hand every 20 seconds (3 times per minute). Higher end G-Shocks and non-G Shock Casios move the minute hand every 10 seconds (6 times per minute).
