    analog and steel

    hello!

is there a past, present, or future G-Shock/Protrek or something, that is:

    1) stainless steel, or titanium or something
    and
    2) analog or analog-digital

    thanks!

Look at the Edifice line, they are not G-shock but they are tougher than any other mechanical watches.

G-011 is not completely steel however.
    The AMW-line is mostly (if not 100%) steel-cased analogues or ana-digi - here's my AMW-707:

    cheers, Sedi

This is a very understated Casio watch, SS case + 100hrs STW + 100hrs CDT.

    I'm thinking about getting one.

There's the older GW1200 series. Unfortunately, some people reported having problems with the movements.

    Here's a borrowed pic:

Yep. I replaced my batteries in my 1210. One of the best G-Shocks. $400 new. Now th new watches are insane expensive.

Mine is he GW1210A . Someone stole my her esio....the one with yellow hands and shiny band. I actually preferred that one but oh well...they were both really cose in appearance.
