    Another stupid "VS" post...

    GMDS6900CC VS G-8900SC-4

The 6900 is a commitment to the singular purity of the color pink (white is not a "color" so it's inclusion as an accent is ancillary, although, it does contribute to the concept of "purity"). The 8900 celebrates pink within the context of all those other colors that orbit pink's world of "WTF" (in the eyes of those who think pink alone warrants a, "... really?").

Easy tiger, it's all in good fun so don't get yer Hanes in a bunched up twist.

A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn), makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value, not something to be wasted.

A man wearing an ostentatiously expensive watch makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers little.

Well now there ya go, gettin' all practical an' such. I'm speakin' from a totally aesthetic place. Function be darned, once you go pink it's about pure form in my book (well, telling time still being sort of essential).
