Any Atomic owners in Calgary, Canada?

    Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone can comment on the availability of signal here in my part of the world.

If watches will sync here then I have another hard decision to make:

    Giez GS1100 or
    GW5600BJC or
    GW9000

    Agony

You should get the signal very strong in Calgary. The signal originates in Fort Collins, Colorado, practically in your back yard. The signal is strong out here on the east coast, so you should be OK. Just make sure you read the instructions on where to leave your watch for the best reception at night (buildings, etc.).

Hey there. I'm in Calgary and I get excellent reception for my GS1000. I can even sync in my northfacing bedroom if I leave it by the radio.

Hi. I'm in Edmonton and have a couple of GW-002KA-3Vs. Both work just fine and pick up the time signal just sitting on the dresser in a north-facing room. No worries. If I can get the signal here, you should have no problem whatsoever.

    Cheers.

YES! That info is gold, thanks fellas. Now all I got to do is decide which Atomic model to start with first .

Statius, I may go with the Giez like you have. What is the other watch in your avatar? Suunto?

I'm new fairly new to G's, but have come to be very impressed with the watch and this forum. We've got a bunch of great guys from all around the globe.
I bought my first G, the GW500A, and love it. I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger on my 2nd G, the GW5600J-1. I really like the clean look & this will have the CDT that my other doesn't. Since my GW500A is solar atomic, I can't imagine buying another without those features....but I also thought the GW500A would be my only G..
I live in Maine, almost as far away from Ft.Collins as you can get and I receive the signal.

No Suunto. It's a Casio Protrek PRG80yt. Quite gigantic, but a great watch.
