Question Any idea what this symbol means?

Look at the highlighted portion in the second picture below...looks like a zero between two horizontal lines... --- 0 ---

Anybody know what that means? This model was one that came on a hybrid nylon/rubber strap with strap adapters...perhaps that's what it designates? I'm just curious about it, so thanks in advance.

    Hello colbypaperboy
Some have said that denotes "over-seas" models. Where as the models slated for domestic (Japanese) sale are marked with -Japan-.
I don't know about this as I've seen some Japanese only models with the same marker. So there goes that idea.

By the way Seamaster73, I think colbypaperboy should send the watch your way before 7 days,
    if that is the case.

I think this is the third thread on this I've seen. No one has ever had an answer. I had a 6600 that right next to the -0- said Japan in the same size lettering, but the caseback said Thailand or Malaysia.

The more I look at this mark...

...the more it looks like a --C-- and not --O--, even with the naked eye. Still don't know what it means, though.
