Any love for the GPW-2000 Gravitymaster?

Anyone care to share their thoughts on this watch. It’s recently caught my eye and am interested in how it’s been received in this com

Got the older GPW-1000 at a great price. It is a very large watch

I love mine. Beautiful. Large but not too large IMHO. I also like that it has MB6, Bluetooth and GPS for time adjustment.

    Definitely one of my favourites.

Great watch but try before you buy.

I loved mine but it was just too big to be practical for every day use so it went.
You might think different but try it for size before shelling out, it's not a cheap watch.

My GPW-2000 is among the favorites in my collection.

    Pros
    - wears very well for its size
    - great strap (cf insert, thick but supple)
    - good lume
    - very good readability, functionality and layout make it a pleasure to use

    Cons
    - light is almost too bright
    - Connected app could definitely be better
    - strap buckle a bit large IMO (though I switched it with my GWG1000 buckle and both watches were better for it)
    - size does hinder in some situations (like any large piece)

If you found one at a reasonable price, I doubt you would be disappointed.

While I'm not crazy about the one you have pictured, too many colours and angles, I do like the more monochrome ones.

I had one of these as well. I enjoyed it a lot but ended up selling it as it was just too big for my liking

I own the GPW 2000 Gravitymaster and love everything about it. I have a small G-Shock collection and it is one of my favorites. I love the size, design, fit, and all of the features packed into this watch.

Re: Any love for the GPW-2000 Gravitymaster?

I've got the 35th anniversary GPW-2000 and I prefer it to my GPW-1000. The GPW-2000 wears a little smaller, better readability IMMO, has a screw down crown. Bluetooth connection offers more expansion of the watch's features and eases any changes in the set up. I prefer the screw down crown as on several occasions both my GPW-1000 & MT-G-G1000 the crown has inadvertently unlocked, which is obviously undesireavle and possibly why Casio has shifted away to the more traditional screw down crown.

35th anniversary GPW-2000 isn't for the modest mind
