Is anyone getting this green DW-5600?

    Anyone getting this green DW-5600FS-3JF?

Looks kind of nice. I think it is associated with some movie star in Japan.

Any idea which day in September this is launching?

Wink Re: Is anyone getting this green DW-5600?

Actually I was discusssing this watch with Gonta in Japan on his blog. Here was his etailed response to this model:

    >The Hero model is the green DW-5600C, isn't

No, it's not. DW-5600FS-3JF is it.

'HERO' is originated from the title of a movie that Takuya Kimura ,who is one of the most popular actors in Asia ,plays the leading part .
That movie is still now on show.
Every watch he wears always rises in price, which urges amatuer brokers to invest in specific G-SHOCKs .
DW-5600FS-3JF is the 'victim' this time.
That's why DW-5600FS-3JF is unreasonably expensive now.

    > I have already decided to buy a KIKS TYO DW-5600 FLash Pack.

    That sounds great.
But it's 1000 pieces limited, as far as I know.
Have you made a reservation ?
Take care not to miss it !!

    Cheers,

    Gonta
I really much like it, there I like the Khaki green color. Too bad there are too many G-Shock's to choose from.

    Cheers,

    Indeed.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Even though it does have that reverse display, I still like this one. In fact, I like it better than the White Risings...

I've sometimes wondered why Casio don't have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white 5600s permanently in their catalogue. I guess it might reduce sales of limited editions, but mightn't it also increase overall sales?

The negative display for this one looks easier to read than the one on Mudman and some others.
