Anyone here with with teenage kids who dig G-Shocks?

Are analog G-Shocks regarded (if at all) by teens (15) as "cooler" than digital? Who here has got teens that like G-Shocks? I'm so out of touch.

My daughter is not a teen yet but she's rocking this baby-g

    She named it "pink blueberry"!

    She never takes it off.

One son wears a G, a gift Mudman from me, he also has a Wenger diver, the other son an Apple Watch he bought hisself. He also has a FitBit he won and a STW-1000 I gave him. He destroyed the old Timex I gave him as a youngster.

Mine aren’t teens yet but my daughters love baby G’s and my son has a G, they love the light, the fact they can jump in the pool with and it takes some knocks too... I did insist on ana-digital as I wanted them to get in the habit of looking at hands as well as digital so I get them to set digi on date and use the hands

My two daughters are under 15 years old. They both love baby G and will wear a lot of Gs in future.

Cant help you much with the younger generation these days I'm afraid. What I can say though, is buy for the personality. There is a G to fit everybody.

Oh yes! Actually I was rather surprised at this but my 14 year old Son expressed his preference with regards to analogue over digital. He now has a GA-1000-8A...(Well, ana-digital I suppose but still)

Thanks for the replies. It seems Casio is pushing a lot of the analog models as the young hip urban choice; much less so than their digital watches. I know kids pay attention to this sort of thing during their teens.

My son will be 12 in January and at the Middle school when I pick him up I see some kids rocking some G's. His watch is a DW-5600E with Bull Bars that I gave him. Another buddy of his wears a shiny resin GB-6900 that is beat to death. Most kids though, just use their phones.

I've got 3 teens, girls. All couldn't care less about a G try as I might, they don't even wear a watch. Don't try taking away their phones though, LOL!
