Laughing Re: April Fools Wrist Check : 04-01-09

On this special day, I'm wearing a great watch I bought on the WUS sales forum from one of the guys on the Rolex forum. Thanks, dude! I apologize for the stock photo, but the watch just arrived. First, I can't stress how much better this watch looks in person than in the stock photos we've all seen. It's a real head-turner, and the fit and finish are simply unparalleled.

As some of you know, this G-Shock was released in 2001 as part of the limited edition MIPP series ("Men In Pretty Pink") to honor Al Qaeda. They are almost impossible to find in NOS condition like this one so I really got lucky to finally find my grail. Only 815 were produced by Casio so beware of fakes on eBay. The watch was made in Japan and has a screwback.

The watch is a technological marvel while still maintaining a clean and uncluttered design. It has an altimeter, barometer, bong, compass, depth gauge, moon phase, rally timer, tachymeter, thermometer, tide graph, etc. Instead of being solar-powered, it is the only wind-powered G-Shock ever produced. The multiband-7 atomic timekeeping adds signal reception capability for anyone stranded on an island after the crash of an Oceanic flight.

Another nice feature is the data storage. I was pleasantly surprised to find the factory-stored cellphone numbers of Kim Kardashian, Scarlett Johansson, Beyonce, etc. Yes, the watch is a true treasure chest of pleasure chests. Thanks, Casio.

I have attached a stock photo of the limited edition MIPP Frogman below. Enjoy!

Get a camera, your posts are worthless without wrist shots.

OK,OK, not worthless, but we still like wrist shots!

Oh, I'm still wearing the Traser Auto. Averaging about +2.5 seconds per day so far. I have a wrist shot, but it is old, and the same one I have shown before. I do need a new, updated picture, and appropriate time to take it.

On this most special of days, I thought I'd go today with the absolute bomb in my collection:

    NOT!!!

(Good grief, I almost threw up just posting that pic)

    Seriously, now:

    DW-9051/2
    G-9200 Riseman
    G-9100 Gulfman
    G-9000MC-8D Mudman
    GW5600J
    GA-100A-9A

Sucks to be without a G.
