    Atomic Frog - anyone regrets...

    Hey all,
Haven't been here for a while. Iphone photography has been eating up my time
I am sorely tempted by the Atomic Frog. The B version is selling for circa USD848 and is too rich for me. I am wondering if I should hold off buying and watch the price and also see what other versions Casio may issue? At the price of USD600+, having multiple Frogs is out of the question for me.

No regrets at all here. I'm extremely pleased with my new GWF-1000-1JF...

I really like the bronze hardware of the GWF-1000B-1 frog, too. If I can find a deal, I might get that one as well. I do agree the current pricing on the new frogs will make it difficult to justify buying multiple versions. There are too many other styles of watch that also deserve my attention.

Wow, that Frogman looks so cool.

    Thanks for the pics.
The MTG is retired and the 5600 too. Right now, the only working G-Shocks that I use and enjoy are the Riseman GW9200-1 and the GW6900-1

If I can own a Rolex Submariner I would. I know they are tough too, their homages are tough. Trust me.

It reminds me of my Riseman especially the bottom of the display.

No regrets here either. Sure, it is huge, but is the most comfortable G Shock I own. Maybe it is just me, but for once I was able to find the perfect hole on the band for the right fit. It syncs every night, I think it looks good, and is tough as nails. It is expensive, but look at the prices of some of the other frogs. It is really not that much more than some of the rare or sought after models.
I am glad I got it and every time I try to wear another watch, the frog ends up back on my wrist by the end of the day.

I'm on the fence right now. It's really a cool watch, but it's enormous for my wrists! I'm a little over 7" and the strap is pretty stiff so it doesn't fit properly. I'm hoping it will soften a bit and fit a little better.

    Looks great though.

Love the bronze metal on that "B"... very very nice. I say give it some time. That strap of yours just needs to see a little use.

Well theirs another one on the sales forum thats at least 2 new ones that members have not decided to keep. I think they are still way over priced, I am not sold that the new technology justifies the price The Riseman has more functions that I use for a lower price.

Edit. Member is keeping one and selling his second one.

i dont regret my purchase one bit. one thing that is bothering me though, is that mine has yet to sync (have had it for 3 days), while all my other atomic g's sync almost every night.
