    Atomic issues

Hi, my rangeman, purchased off Amazon, won’t sync. How do I correct this? Did the manual sync, and get error.
    Ideas?

    Pawnbroker: You got a receipt?
Louis Winthorpe III: Look, it tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.
Pawnbroker: In Philadelphia, it's worth 50 bucks.
Louis Winthorpe III: Just give me the money.

Set home time to the area where you receive the signal. If this doesn't work. Wait for clear sky at night. If still doesn't work, try emulator. Hardly to be the case that the watch is defect. Most of the time, just poor signal. Congrats on your new G

Obvious question, have you set the correct HOME city? (Facelessman beat me to it)

Are you in Washington state or DC?

I've had issues this past week getting a signal in Northern Virginia but other times I can get a signal in the middle of a. Clear day.

    Re: Atomic issues

Can't tell you how many threads we've seen about not being able to sync via MB6. 99.9% of the time, the watch is not at fault. Not to say it's your fault, it isn't. Whether you're in Washington state or D.C., you're far enough from the transmitter in Colorado that many things could be impacting successful sync. There are many variables having to do with signal reception. Signal reception is best at night, so don't even try a manual sync during the day.

    1) as others have said, set your correct home city
    2) let the watch try auto-sync at night, for at least 3-5 nights (and if it isn't syncing, you could try moving the watch to different areas of the house. Try a window sill facing in the direction of Colorado)
    3) if it isn't syncing and you want to be sure the watch is not defective, try a signal emulator on your phone
    4) If it syncs via the signal emulator, you know it's working. Then just be patient for it to auto-sync on its own.

I have never been able to get one to manually sync during the day. As has been said make sure you have set your home city correctly (a city in your time zone) and make sure auto sync is on and place it somewhere where it has a view of whatever direction Colorado is from you and it should sync. I live in the South Eastern U.S. and mine sync almost every night.

The signal is strongest from 11pm-2am MST

Normal not to sync during the day

Ensure that the home city is set correctly and then sleep in it as your body acts as some sort of aerial for the MB6.

I've had similar problems with my new GW-M5610. It seems to sync OK when I wear it to sleep. I don't have much success with it on the table or during the day, though.

I don't like how finicky it is about doing its job so I think I'm going to send it back.

Well this one solved itself last night. Had it set to the LA time zone, as I’m in Seattle. Got a signal and synced this am at 1203 with a good signal. Thanks for the help!
