    Atomic signal in Boston

For some reason my Giez has been synching every two or three days recently. It used to synch every few weeks. I live near Boston. Has anyone else in the northeast noticed better synching recently?

Yes, I'm about 30 miles south in Middleboro and I have noticed that my atomics are syncing quite a bit more regularly. It has to do with the time of year and the thickness of the atmosphere at this time, ya know radio propagation and what not. I'm sure someone here can give you a more in depth answer but thats the gist of it. I was a radio operator in the coast guard and that's about all I can remember from my classes on the subject.

I live right outside of Boston and haven't gotten a sync since the 13th...usually I get it about once a week.

Solar flare activity has been unusually low the past few weeks - might have some affect on it.
