    AWG-500 sleeping?

A new piece it is coming in my collection, ist the analog AWG-500J one of the best remake, in my thought...
The watch is coming to me safely after a 8 days trip from HK to Italy.
I think that is going in some "sleep mode": the hands are placed at 00:00, the three all digit screen are full black and the indicator "charge" is flashing.
The button do not sort any result and also if I try to put under bright light it oes not wake up.

I think the battery may be totally discharge... or any other idea?

The manual is only in Japan and I can't find one for the 4359 module on the Casio Website... any help to find the manual from you my friend?

    :thanks

others have posted simiular problems sounds like the battery is totally drained. so it wont wake up right away. you need to leave it near sunlight for one or two days. that should take dare of it. also if its going to be very hot where you leave watch in the sun you can put it in a glass of water that will keep the g cooool
